Join  us on Tuesday, September 24, from 4-6 PM at the newly-opened Parlay Bar  & Lounge for our Connect Local fall panel event, "The Business of  Elections." This nonpartisan discussion will explore the inner workings  of elections, focusing on their administration, oversight, and security.  Learn how elections are managed, the measures in place to ensure their  integrity, and the significant impact they have on local businesses and  leaders. Discover how business professionals can contribute to the  process and make a difference.

Our panelists include:

  • John O’Bannon, Chairman of the Virginia Electoral Board
  • Rosalyn Dance, Vice Chairman of the Virginia Electoral Board
  • Mark Coakley, Henrico County Registrar
  • Scot McRoberts, Moderator and Executive Director at VA Council of CEOs

Together, they will provide valuable insights and foster a meaningful discussion on this crucial topic.

Early  Bird Registration is now open, with tickets available at $35 for a  limited time. This event is free for Connect Local members. Click  REGISTER below to secure your seat!

This event also highlights our  support for the Cameron K. Gallagher (CKG) Foundation, a nonprofit  dedicated to creating a world without mental health stigma. The CKG  Foundation emphasizes the importance of mental health education,  self-reflection, positive coping skills, and a network of support for  teens and their influencers. All of their programs, including the  SpeakUp5k, aim to celebrate mental health, increase self-awareness, and  normalize the conversation around mental health.

Don't miss this  opportunity to engage with industry experts, connect with fellow  community members, and support a meaningful cause. We look forward to  seeing you there!
